Scholars' Dinner
Each year we have a dinner for all the academic awardholders in the school - all the boys and girls who have scholarships and exhibitions. We invite a speaker who sends them questions to think about in advance of the evening, and staff take them in smallish groups for discussion and sit with them at their tables for the dinner in Kingsland Hall. The speaker addresses the whole gathering at the end of the meal.
The 2009 Scholars' Dinner takes place on Tuesday 13th October, and the speaker will be Desmond Shawe-Taylor, Surveyor of the Queen's Pictures, who will be speaking on Art History.
