News in Depth
Hardly a day passes at Shrewsbury without something happening that is newsworthy, whether it be an academic achievement, a sporting success, a lecture, quiz, play, musical performance or any other extra-curricular activity. In addition, there are other traditional events that take place every year such as house plays, various races (Third Form Race, The Tucks, The Hunt) and the House Singing Competition, to mention but a few.
We try to keep up with these events on the website and post current news highlights on the Home Page, and we keep a record of past events. You can use the links on the left to view news items from previous years.
We have also recently started publishing Weekly e-Bulletins on the website. These are intended primarily for parents and give them news, information about forthcoming events, and other notices.
The Headmaster writes a letter to every parent towards the end of every term and occasionally during the course of a term.
