Gifts from overseas

As a result of the tremendous support that we receive from the USA, Shrewsbury School Foundation Inc was set up.  SSF Inc is a 501 (c) 3 registered organisation and is able to receive donations in US dollars including gifts of shares, and legacies.  Please contact the Chairman of Shrewsbury School Foundation Inc,  Michael Kerr, for further information.  If you would like a copy of our USA gift form please contact us on 01743 280889 or by email.

The Foundation is able to accept donations from anywhere in the world. If you live outside the UK or USA please contact us for details of how to donate.

US Taxpayers
The BSUF was founded over 40 years ago to enable US residents to support British schools and universities in a tax efficient manner. As well as Shrewsbury, BSUF represents over 100 other famous schools and universities including Harrow, Uppingham, Sherborne, Bedford, Eton and Rugby - to name but a few. As a result, our membership will entitle you to receive a US income tax charitable contribution deduction.

Should you wish to make a gift and take a US charitable contribution income tax deduction, you may make a donation to the British Schools and Universities Foundation (BSUF) Inc. This is a charitable organisation recognised by the US Internal Revenue Service under Section 501 (c) (3) of their Codes. The BSUF's Federal ID Number is 13-616-1189.
