Girls' Rowing
Girls' Rowing at Shrewsbury School continues to grow since the first girls joined our new coeducational Sixth Form in 2008. We now have two crews regularly rowing and competing. With a win at Agecroft Head, for our U6 crew, the new dynamic of a squad system is establishing healthy competition for seats.
Newcomers will typically spend the first 6 weeks learning technique and boatmanship, and will then merge with existing rowers to form a fuller squad system, at which point selection and crews will start to form.

Briefly the year comprises:
Michaelmas Term:
Agecroft: U6 and selected crews (VIII, IV's)
Northwich: all girls (IV's)
Wallingford: selected 'A' crew (VIII)
Lent Term:
Wycliffe: all girls (VIII's IV's)
Worcester: all girls (VIII's)
SHORR, London: selected 'A' crew
Chester: all girls (VIII's)
Summer term

Shrewsbury: all girls (VIII's, IV's)
Notts City: Selected NSR Crews (VIII's, IV's)
