Meet the Housemaster...
Giles Bell joined Shrewsbury in 1989 to teach Religious Studies. A keen sportsman, Giles ran the 3rd XI football and Under 16 cricket team very successfully for many years before taking over School House in 1999.

Giles is an avid fan of Brighton and Hove Albion and Sussex County Cricket Club.  He is a teller of extremely bad jokes and enjoys all forms of theatre and drama, and has appeared on the CBBC TV Show 'Rule the School'.

He enjoyed working on the School House film 'Gary Otter and the Trunk of Blood' and won a a BBC Going Live video competition with a short film on homelessness.

Having run the charities for many years at Shrewsbury, he is now behind The Blue Chair movement, which seeks world domination by 2020.

Giles is married to Emily and they have two young children - Reggie (January 2009) and Edith (October 2010).  Giles has another son Joe, a young Salopian at Ingram's.  He also has a dog, a cat, a rabbit and six chickens.
