Third Form Activities

In the Third Form, boys follow a wide range of activities on Thursday afternoons, ranging from golf to country walks, from squash to drama, and from rowing to School history. In some cases (fives, for example, and bridge), they are introduced to an activity which they may not previously have experienced; in others (ICT, and Personal, Social and Health Education), the work complements the timetabled curriculum. This 'round robin' approach ensures both variety and a broad-based introduction to many areas of School life.

The termly Field Days are divided between an (invariably popular) Outward Bound course at Aberdovey; visits to Liverpool Football Club and to the Liverpool Museum; and to the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television at Bradford. In addition, Housemasters frequently use this opportunity to undertake a House-based activity with their boys.
