Shrewsbury School Model United Nations Conference

4th - 5th March 2017

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting the inaugural Shrewsbury School MUN conference, 'ShrewsMUN I'. This is the homepage for the conference, where we will release details such as committee topics and briefing papers as they become available.

Model United Nations is a simulation of the real United Nations, where students assume the role of a country and debate and negotiate as a delegate of their country in order to promote their state’s agenda. Many worldwide and regional issues are discussed in a variety of committees focused on different spheres of international affairs.

ShrewsMUN I is open to all interested schools, whether they are experienced MUN schools or newcomers, and we would be delighted to see as many schools as possible present.

For more information about attending or about the conference in general, please email Ed Plaut, the Secretary General, at Please note, however, that the deadline for applications to attend has now passed .
