Notices to Parents

Shrewsbury School Inter-House Athletics Tournament, Friday 26th April, 3.45 - 6.30pm
Next Friday the whole School will be decamping down to London Road (the athletics track at Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology) for this year's Inter-House Athletics event. Last year was a great success, despite some challenging conditions, and we hope for another enjoyable day in a bit more sunshine this time!

We'd love for as many parents to come and spectate as possible, and it is to be hoped that with the event taking place on a Friday afternoon rather than a Thursday, more may find this feasible. For those that do, please make use of the parking facilities at Shrewsbury Cricket Club, just a little further down London Road on the opposite side (postcode SY2 6PT for those using satnav). The venue itself will have no parking availability.

Last year's event was won by Severn Hill in the boys' competition and by Emma Darwin Hall in the girls'. Will they be able to retain their trophies? Please come along and join us to find out!

Lifelong Learning at Shrewsbury starts next week

The first of these events, a talk by Fergus Reid on 19th Century French Art, takes place on Wednesday 24th April - please see Forthcoming Events below for further details.

All Lifelong Learning events are open to members of the public. Please see the Lifelong Learning webpage for further details of all the events.
