'A Weekend of Mozart' at Shrewsbury School, Friday 27th - Sunday 29th April

We were extremely sorry and disappointed that the severe weather and treacherous driving conditions meant that we had to cancel the Gala Concert we had planned to hold in Birmingham Town Hall last Sunday.  Many apologies to everyone who had been planning to attend. However, we are pleased to announce that we have managed to find another date to perform the programme that had been prepared for the concert, which included Mozart's Requiem and the 1st movement of his Horn Concerto No. 3. It will take place in the Alington Hall at Shrewsbury School on Sunday 29th April at 7.30pm and tickets are free.

The previous evening, several of our talented singers will give a semi-staged performance in the Maidment Auditorium of Mozart's final opera, 'The Magic Flute', written shortly before the Requiem and just a few months before Mozart's death in December 1791. We do hope that as many of you as possible will join us for what promises to be a very special weekend. Further details can be found under 'Forthcoming Events' below.
