An earlyish start (09.00) on Sunday 28th April will see the first event of the Salopian Drivers Club which will be held at the Bicester Heritage Centre kindly hosted by James Mitchell (G 93-98) of Pendine Historic Cars (https://pendine.com/) with a tour of the exclusive and rare cars in the collection. This will be followed by a short navigation run for a private dining lunch at the very well appointed Manor on the Green at Weston (https://www.themanorweston.com/) - there will be a sensible cost for lunch.
All Old Salopians who have an interest in cars (you need not own anything extraordinary yourself) and their families are most welcome and encouraged to attend. All those attending must purchase an entrance ticket to the Heritage site in advance (https://bicesterheritage.co.uk/tickets/sunday-scramble-tickets/) and confirm numbers for lunch to Grant Charlesworth-Jones (O 91-96) at email@example.com.
Those attending are advised that gates open at 9.00am but queues start building from 8.30am. Once inside the centre, make your way to Pendine Historic Cars based at the Blast House on the Heritage site where James Mitchell will welcome everyone at 10.30am. There will be no special parking arrangements; park in the general parking area and then make for the Blast House.
