Competing for a prestigious academic prize awarded at Speech Day, 35 academically ambitious Third & Fourth form pupils entered this year's Junior Essay Prize last Friday evening.

On Saturday ten Shrewsbury crews travelled to Dorney Lake to take on Eton, Westminster and Radley in a fixture.

With Shrewsbury Regatta in full swing in the background, a Top Squad girls' quad was christened in recognition of the enormous contribution that Gordon Woods has made to the Boat Club over the course of his remarkable career. 

It has been a busy week for the Athletics Squad – numerous PBs, Medals and a winning the prestigious Trophy ‘The Chris Brasher Trophy’ for the 4 x 400m Relay at the Achilles Relays.

Over the weekend the Boat Club had forty-one crews competing in glorious conditions at the Shrewsbury Regatta.

Friday 29th April saw our inaugural ‘Enterprising Futures Conference’ for our third formers.

A team of Salopians entered a global Maths competition and placed 123rd in the world.
