National Hockey League Debut for Tamika

We are delighted to share some fantastic news from the hockey programme.

Over the Coach Weekend, Tamika C (IV, M) achieved a remarkable milestone by making her National League Division One debut for Sutton Coldfield Hockey Club. Competing at adult level, National League Division One represents one of the highest standards of hockey in the country and is widely regarded as the equivalent of the Championship in men's professional football.

Tamika's debut came in a highly competitive fixture against Beeston Hockey Club, where she not only gained valuable experience at this elite level but also earned a green card, demonstrating her commitment and competitive spirit throughout the match.

To make a National League debut while still in Fourth Form is an outstanding achievement and reflects Tamika's dedication, talent and hard work, as well as her commitment to developing her game at the highest level.

Everyone at the School is incredibly proud of Tamika's success. We congratulate her on this significant achievement and look forward to following her continued progress in the National League and beyond.
