The 1st XI travelled to Hammersmith on Wednesday 14th November to play Latymer Upper School in the 3rd Round of the ISFA Boodles U18 Cup.
It was a tough game against a big, fit and strong team who made life very difficult for our players. With just 3 minutes left to play, Shrewsbury were 2-1 down. Ben Gould, our goalie, scored the equaliser from a corner, and at the end of extra time it was still 2-2.
In a tense penalty shoot-out, Ben saved 3 penalties, and Shrewsbury eventually won the match 3-2.
Our 1st XI now go through to the Quarter Finals - the draw will be made later this week.
