Their Cross-Channel Challenge took place on Sunday 10th March and began with all the girls swimming 34 kilometres (21 miles) in a team relay: a total of 1,320 lengths of the Shrewsbury School swimming pool.
As soon as they reached land in France (virtually at least), a smaller group took over to row back to England. They had originally planned to do this on the River Severn, but high-water levels meant that they were forced indoors instead. Undaunted, the team rowed a total of two and a half hours on an ergo.
Moser's Hall's combined efforts have raised more than £1,700 for Alder Hey Hospital – a superb effort. Their online fundraising page is still open and they would be very grateful for all donations: https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/mosershallswim
