Northern Progress. In what is fast becoming an autumn tradition, the Director made his annual November pilgrimage to the north . First stop on Thursday 15th November was the Wally Dug, a splendidly placed hostelry in Edinburgh New Town, where some 30 Salopians assembled to enjoy the local brew of Murray Campbell (O 92-97).
The following evening saw similar numbers of Salopians in Durham and Newcastle gather at the Swan and Three Cygnets in Durham. For those who came and those who missed the events this year - “Will ye no come back again?”!
