Oliver Hodges (S 3) wins runner-up prize in a national story-writing challenge

Thursday 6 March 2014

Last November, the charity Walking With The Wounded joined forces with best-selling author Andy McNab to hold a Story-Writing Challenge. Students aged 11-15 were asked to complete a story started by Andy McNab, using no more than 1000 words.

The competition was judged by Andy McNab, who chose a winner and four runners-up (rather than three, as originally planned – it was clearly a hard decision).

One of the runners-up was Third Former Oliver Hodges (S), who received a signed book by Andy McNab as his prize.
