Following a short AGM and a hearty two course lunch, courtesy of the Blackwell Kitchen – roast beef & Yorkshire pudding followed by chocolate pecan pie and ice cream – there was a need to get some exercise!
Nine OS Golfers (OSGS President Anthony Smith (I 1954-59) Angus Pollock (I 1975-80) Stefan Hindmarsh (CH 2006-11) Robert Lanyon (Rt 1950-54) David Schofield (O 2013-18) Richard Hanson (RT 1986-91) D’Arcy Swan (R 1982-87) Rod Spiby (PH 1979-84) and the Hon Sec, Charles Hill (SH 1980-84) played in three balls and had a great October day with a blue sky (to start with) and then warm overcast weather with Blackwell in good condition and the greens running well.
