Royal Society of Biology Olympiad 2018 success

Eight of our Upper Sixth biologists joined more than 7,800 pupils who volunteered to take part in the first round of this year's Biology Olympiad, organised by the Royal Society of Biology.

They achieved outstanding results, amassing between them one gold medal (awarded only to the top 6%), two silver medals (10.7%), three bronze medals and one commended.

The competition is open to all post-16 students in the UK and is designed to challenge and stimulate the most talented young biologists in the country.
