A choir of over 20, organised by Richard Eteson (G 89-93) and directed by Patrick Craig (Ch 82-87), sang a remarkable medley of carols and anthems, culminating in a spectacular rendition of 'The Heavens are Telling' from Haydn’s Creation.
The service was taken by the Rev Gavin Williams (Chaplain 92-02), supported by a distinguished list of Salopian readers and the consummate organ playing of Richard Dacey (Staff 87-94).
This event, followed by a chance to chat to fellow Salopians and refresh the vocal chords at the nearby Fine Line pub, is fast becoming one of the highlights of the Salopian Club calendar and should not be missed.
