I am sure that you will all wish to join us in expressing our thanks for the very valuable contribution that they have made in nurturing School House boys so successfully. School House has a unique atmosphere and a strong sense of community, which is very much the product of Giles’ deft touch and strong sense of loyalty to all those in his charge. I know that all the School House boys will be wishing to round off Giles’ final year in fine style.
The search now begins for a worthy and suitable successor. So keen are we to identify the right person, that we intend to launch a national, in fact international, search to try and find the best possible candidate. Although we will initiate this process with an appropriate sense of urgency, it will probably be into November before we are able to inform you of the successful candidate.
We know that Giles will be utterly committed to seeing his time in School House through to a successful conclusion, at which point there will be the opportunity for celebrations and farewells.
