Severn Hill chefs in the kitchens of KH for supper

Following the success the House Challenge 'Ready, Steady, Cook!' last term, the KH team were joined by a team of chefs from Severn Hill on Monday evening.

The visiting chefs - Max Lilley (UVI), Charlie Straw (LVI), Guy Cooper (UVI), Al Wager (LVI), James Harris (UVI), John Annan (V), Alex Yale (IV) and Mark Lawley (V) - chose an American Diner theme, so their menu included cheese burgers, chicken wings and macaroni cheese, and a white chocolate cheesecake for desssert.

The boys all helped to prepare, cook and serve supper that night, under the expert guidance of the KH Masterchef for the evening, Mr Paul Vicars.

The team in KH thoroughly enjoyed working with them, and were particularly pleased that the unusual amount of mess surrounding the boys' workstations was all neatly tidied up afterwards.  The only problem was that all the burgers were eaten up, so the chefs never got to have one themselves - but that's catering for you!
