Friday 18 January 2019

After a a couple of years' absence, Shrewsbury School returned in style to the Geography Worldwise Quiz, an annual national competition sponsored by the Geographical Association, Field Studies Council and Ordnance Survey.

Six local schools gathered at Moreton Hall on Wednesday 16th January to compete for the Shropshire regional title. Shrewsbury School was well represented, fielding two very strong Third Form teams: Orlando Bayliss, Hubert Read, Eva Hall, Sapna Chudasama, Harry Harnaman and Morgan Matthews did their year group proud.

After a difficult first round, Harry, Morgan and Sapna (pictured below) were in second place, securing them a spot in the final round of four.

Another strong performance in the final ensured the team finished second. A great effort from a talented group!
