Cricket: Ollie Westbury (S 2013-15) impresses against Australia U19s

Ollie Westbury was selected to play for an England Development Programme Invitational XI against Australia Under-19s in a two-day fixture at Loughborough National Performance Centre, 30th - 31st July.

The match formed part of Australia's preparations for the forthcoming Under-19 ODI and Test series against England.

Ollie scored an impressive 57 off 124 balls in the first innings, as the Invitational X1 scored 354-6 declared. He then made 26 off 49 deliveries in England's second innings.

Ollie has enjoyed a very successful cricket career at Shrewsbury School, where he made became the first player since James Taylor to score 1,000 runs in a season. He has now joined Worcestershire's Academy and 2nd XI.

He scored a maiden century for Worcestershire's 2nd XI in their Championship match against Nottinghamshire in July.
