The Girls had not been on the water for almost three weeks due to the flooding, but had chosen to race at Wycliffe in order to gain themselves another race. Due to logistics and entries the girls had to race out of their category amongst crews who had all previously won a race, and therefore much more experienced. It only remains to be said that the girls did all that was asked of them, concentrating on one aspect of the stroke, and have now, with two races under their belts, gained some invaluable race experience which we will take into the 8+ next term.
Looking forward to next term the girls have the following races to concentrate on:
Wycliffe Big Head - Sat 6th February
Reading University Head - Sat 6th March
North of England Head - Sat 20th March
Parents are always welcome and encouraged to come and watch the girls race. Details will be given to the girls ahead of time, or please get in touch.
