Every year hundreds of Old Salopians and parents contribute to our Annual Appeal because they appreciate that without their generous support Shrewsbury could not remain at the forefront of independent school education.
For centuries Shrewsbury School has been known for the exceptional educational experience it provides each and every pupil. However, this world class instruction comes at a cost and as with all independent schools in the UK, we also rely on former pupils and parents to make contributions to our Annual Fund.
Whether it is a gift in support of bursaries, allowing talented pupils who could not otherwise afford the fees to attend, or assisting with the purchase of sport, drama, music or teaching equipment, your gift is essential in sustaining and improving the unique Shrewsbury experience.
A case in point is the funding of the £1,000,000 refurbishment of the Moser Library, which has been made possible through the incredible generosity of our community. However, in order for our pupils to take full advantage of this new state of the art facility, we will need additional equipment, for example eBooks, computer terminals and modular furniture. All these extras will be provided through our Annual Appeal.
We do hope that you will feel able to support us in some way, large or small. It really does make a big difference.
