The main purpose of the role will be to support the teaching of Science (Chemistry/Biology) by assembly, preparation and dismantling of equipment in laboratories, which will include general housekeeping within the classrooms and working pro-actively as part of a team of Technicians. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in education and working in a Science faculty of a major independent school. You must be able to work independently, and work to specific instructions. You will be able to demonstrate practical and pro-active skills with a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will relate well to a wide range of people, and work with minimal supervision, to achieve the overall aims of the faculties.
This position is for approximately 3 years where the successful applicant will be studying towards, and expected to achieve, a qualification in Science Laboratory. The salary will be based on the Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage.
