The Listening Team comprises about a dozen members of staff, including several House matrons, all of whom are experienced pastoral practitioners; some have also had additional formal training.
The Listening Team forms a part of the School’s holistic approach to pastoral care and our commitment to safeguard and promote the well being of all members of the school community.
The team's aim is to provide support for individual students who request help, and also to support the Senior Management Team and Housemasters in counselling students in the event of a critical incident.
Although some students may be referred to the Listening Team, any approach is always entirely voluntary.
