    Sports Kit

    Sports Kit

Sport at Shrewsbury has a long and distinguished history. Our current Salopians continue to build on the successes of the past to write our modern-day sporting history.

Our pupils - your sons and daughters - take pride in representing the School in all spheres and at all levels of the sport. The kit they wear is an important part of their ‘Salopian’ identity and a key opportunity to fly the flag for Shrewsbury School up and down the country and beyond. It is important to us that our pupils wear kit that is practical, high quality and is consistently and clearly branded as ‘Shrewsbury School’ across all sports.

Following a careful tender process, the decision was made to move our kit supplier to PlayerLayer from September 2016 and reduce the number of individual pieces of sports kit your child will require to take part in curriculum games, PE and sports practices. This is referred to as our ‘core range’ kit.

The kits combine a refresh of the Shrewsbury brand with a core range of durable, well-made sportswear. PlayerLayer have established themselves in the market by providing high performance team sportswear and excellent customer service.“PlayerLayer are proud to be partnering with Shrewsbury School. Shrewsbury is undoubtedly one of the leading Independent Schools in the UK, with a rich heritage dating back to the 16th century.  Our values are very much aligned and we hope we can contribute to the performance, look and feeling on the sports field, whilst upholding the traditions of the School.”
