Are you a Salopian interested in the natural world, environmental and agricultural issues? We are hoping to set up a new Salopian Natural History Society and would like to invite you to an inaugural event at Shrewsbury School on Wednesday April 30th.

Journalist and TV producer Anna Jones will be speaking at School as part of the Dialogues lecture series. Brought up on a farm near Oswestry, Anna's first book 'Divide' was longlisted for the Wainwright prize for Conservation Issues.

You are invited to join us for a tour of the School's conservation sites at 5.30 with biology teacher Mrs Jackie Matthews who oversees all Shrewsbury's environmental projects and clubs, followed by drinks and canapes in Kingsland House ahead of the talk at 7.30.

Please book your free ticket for the talk using the following link

Please let us know in the Salopian Club office if you would like to attend the walk and drinks first by replying to this email.

There will also be an opportunity to celebrate 10 years since the School's flourishing Natural History Society was revived by Mrs Matthews and to reunite members from similar societies over the years.
