Matt Pinkett is a teacher, speaker, and author specialising in male mental health, masculinity, and tackling misogyny in schools. He delivers staff training and student workshops across the UK, combining lived classroom experience with powerful, engaging storytelling that challenges stereotypes and sparks honest conversations.

He is the author of best-selling book, Boys Don’t Try? and Boys Do Cry, two widely discussed books that explore how schools and society can better support boys without reinforcing harmful gender norms. Matt has been featured on the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, and in publications including The Guardian, The New York Post, The Times, The Telegraph, and TES. His work is known for being unapologetically real, thought-provoking, and deeply rooted in both research and experience.

This thought-provoking session will explore the hidden pressures young men face today – from toxic masculinity and online influencers to the silence around male mental health. Through honest stories, real-world examples, and interactive discussion, students will examine how misogyny harms everyone, how male mental health is often misunderstood, and what it really means to be strong.

Designed to challenge stereotypes and spark reflection, this session gives Sixth Form students the tools to think critically, speak openly, and support each other better – regardless of gender.

Tickets are free and can be booked here.
