An Upper Sixth Former is hosting a Charity Auction that will raise money for Solidarity Sports.

Phoebe C (G, UVI) said: "For my EPQ I am hosting a Charity Auction at Lots Road Auctions in Chelsea, which is run by my father, on Thursday, October 13th.

"The aim is to raise as many funds as possible for a local children’s Charity in London called Solidarity Sports.

"Solidarity Sports are a charity who do work with young, disadvantaged children in and around London. I have worked alongside some of the children before so I really can vouch that any donation that Solidarity Sports receives has a significant impact on the children. Many of these children and their families were involved in the unfortunate Grenfell Tower fire and many knew people who were victims of the horrific event.

"My family is closely connected to this charity which is why I have chosen it as the charity I would like to be the beneficiary of the charity auction."

The lots on offer include:

  • Official Chelsea football from the 2022-23 season signed by all members of the men’s first team squad. The item will be accompanied by a unique certificate of authenticity. (Donated by Chelsea Football Club)
  • ‘Blue Horizon’ An Andrew Logan art, one of a kind handmade Jewellery Piece
  •   Double Olympic Champion and World Record holder Adam Peaty signed merchandise and card

There will also be raffle tickets available to buy at a cost of £5 to win a Tanners Magnum of Champagne, donated by the event sponsors Tanners.

The auction will be broadcast live as well as in person, so you can bid via the website

Phoebe continued: "I would like to extend a warm invitation to anyone who wishes to attend the auction at 71 Lots Rd, London SW10 0RN. The auction will start at 7.15pm and drinks will be available from 6.30pm.

"Any donation big or small at all would be hugely appreciated and would go a long way for the remarkable children of Solidarity Sports."
