Annual Cricket Tour
The second week of August in Instow, North Devon, can only mean one thing - the arrival of the Saracens on their annual cricket tour. Despite their first Monday loss to North Devon CC for several years, the current batch of cricketers were joined by the Saracens cricketing stars of yesteryear (fresh from the golf links at Westward Ho!) for the traditional dinner in the North Devon CC pavilion. Our thanks as ever go to the long-suffering Steve Barnard (RB 09-11) for his faultless tour organisation.
