Office Internship Programme 2020/2021

We have been delighted to welcome the first cohort of Interns into the team.  It has been an interesting time for us all with the Coronavirus restrictions, but, both Staff and Interns have enjoyed working together and we believe it has been an invaluable experience for the Interns and has been a great asset in growing our team.

Joe Archer

I am currently a Lower Sixth Form student attending Shrewsbury School. Currently I am studying three A levels, which are, Physical Education, Business Studies, and Biology. As well as the academic side of my school life I am a very keen sports player and fan with football being the key sport that I enjoy, and I am a part of the School’s first XI. I also play for the county and will be trialling for ISFA next year.  I also like to watch and take part in a wide range of other activities.

Steven Brakespeare

I am a lower Sixth Former in Shrewsbury School. Joining Ingram’s Hall in Third Form, I enjoy and admire the community experience in this remarkable school. I was born in Hong Kong to Chinese and Australian parents and exposed to a multinational background. I’m really enjoying my Internship in the Development Office.

I am a student in lower VI at Shrewsbury School. My A Levels consist of Design and Technology, Physical Education, and Business Studies. I enjoy playing sport, especially rugby and I have been in the 1st XV since IV form, which I very much enjoy.

Isobel Jefferies

Joining Shrewsbury in 2019 for Sixth Form, I was pleased to be welcomed to Emma Darwin Hall. I am currently in my second year of A-Levels, studying Philosophy, Economics and Biology. The Development Internship has helped my communicative, creative and research skills, which I will make great use out of when I start university in September.
