Our whole person approach and outstanding teaching help pupils achieve strong results and move on to secure places in further education where they will continue to thrive.

Results and Further Education

In 2025, over 85% of pupils progressed to their first-choice destinations, with 82% enrolling at universities ranked in the Global Top 200. At A Level, 77% achieved A–B*, with 39 pupils achieving straight A–A*.

Leading University Success

2025 was another outstanding year for Shrewsbury pupils with 65% securing places at Russell Group universities including Exeter, UCL and Durham.

Global pathways and North American success

An increasing number of Salopians are choosing to study in top North American universities and beyond, with 10 students currently in Ivy League and Ivy Plus universities. Many secure highly competitive scholarships, including:

- Boston University - Rowing Scholarship

- University of Maryland - Track Scholarship

- University of North Carolina and Duke University - Robertson Scholarship

A Historic Harvard Double

In 2024, we celebrated a unique double as both Heads of School (pictured right) were offered places to study at Harvard University
