You are warmly invited to join a walk around Bloomsbury, London WC1, followed by a guided tour of The Foundling Museum in Coram Fields and drinks at The Providence in Lamb's Conduit Street.  The meeting place is on the corner of Gower Street and Bedford Square (WC1B) at 2pm.

Bloomsbury is one of the most fascinating parts of London. Home to a series of writers and artists from Virginia Woolf to Dante, Gabriel Rossetti and Oscar Wilde, along with a host of celebrities, including Charles Darwin, John Maynard Keynes, and Lytton Strachey. Many commemorative blue plaques adorn the walls of these elegant London Squares. The walk will begin in Bedford Square, home of the celebrated Bloomsbury hostess, Ottoline Morrell, and it will end at Brunswick Square close to the Coram Foundling Museum which was established by Royal Charter on 17th October, 1739 by Captain Coram. The story of the hospital, which opened a branch at Shrewsbury School, is an intriguing tale of suffering and philanthropy in the early 18th Century.
