In celebration of King Charles III’s Coronation Shrewsbury School enjoyed a pupil-organised charity fête that raised £800 for Severn Hospice.

The event was hosted in Quod along with a barbeque for all students and teachers.

Moser’s Hall organised and ran the event where we put together stalls and worked together to put on a successful day. We had stalls which included Lucky Dip and ‘Splat the Teacher’ and many teachers stepped in to take part, including Mr Winkley.

Everyone had great fun and celebrated the significant moment as a community whilst raising money for charity. The event took much work to bring together and hope that in the future we can have more events like this especially for such a good cause.
