We are delighted to announce that a team of our Biology pupils have been shortlisted for the Imperial College School Teams Global Health Prize, part of the prestigious Science in Medicine School Teams Prize competition.

This year’s challenge invited school teams from across the country to design an ePoster illustrating an idea that uses science and technology to improve lives. The 2025 theme focused on one of the most pressing issues of our time – the impact of climate change on global health.

From a total of 74 entries, carefully reviewed by a panel of 24 expert judges, our pupils’ work was selected as one of the top 10 submissions nationwide. As a result, the team has been invited to present their project at the finals event at Imperial College London on Wednesday 8th October 2025.

The Global Health Prize is supported by RAIRDA (The Rare Autoimmune Rheumatic Disease Alliance) and the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre’s Immunology Theme. It offers pupils a unique opportunity to combine creativity, scientific understanding, and innovation to tackle real-world challenges.

Being shortlisted for this competition is a remarkable achievement in itself and a testament to our pupils’ commitment, originality, and teamwork. We are immensely proud of them and wish them every success as they prepare to showcase their ideas at the finals.
