Lilly signs for Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy 

We are thrilled to announce that Lilly C-W (V, G) has officially signed with the Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy.

The confirmation came through on the same evening Lilly made her debut for the U16 Girls against touring side Beaumont United. Despite a narrow 3-2 loss, Lilly impressed with a key assist and a solid performance at right back. 

Lilly will now train with the Academy twice a week as she continues to develop her skills at an elite level.  

Mr Wilderspin, Director of Football, passed on his congratulations to Lilly, saying: 

“What an amazing accomplishment and Lilly should be really proud of her achievements so far.  

“I was delighted to hear the news, and I am sure there will be many more accolades to come in the future. We are all really proud of her.” 

In more exciting news, Lilly has also been selected to represent Shropshire County U16s this Saturday. She’ll travel to Lancashire to compete in the National Cup - best of luck, Lilly.
