Headmaster welcomes Robin Fletcher, CEO of the BSA Group to Shrewsbury

Headmaster Leo Winkley welcomed Robin Fletcher, CEO of the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) Group, for a springtime visit to Shrewsbury School.

Reflecting on the visit, the Headmaster said: “Robin was able to check up on the flourishing of the cherry tree that he planted in 2019 as part of the BSA's Orchard, which is doing well.

“Robin kindly met with our excellent team of Housemasters and Housemistresses discussing themes in contemporary UK boarding, before touring the school with pupils and visiting various houses.

“Always good to spend time with fellow advocates of all that great boarding schools do for the flourishing of young people - and indeed trees.”
