We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Megan Boyce as Housemistress of Emma Darwin Hall from September 2026.

Mrs Boyce is currently a boarding Housemistress at Queenswood School, having previously served as Head of Art Textiles and Deputy Housemistress at Uppingham School.

Her husband, Dr David Boyce, is also a Housemaster of a girls’ boarding house at Queenswood. An award‑winning teacher of physics, astronomy and chemistry, Dr Boyce has held a number of leadership roles, including Head of Expeditions at Uppingham School, where he led the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme and took an expedition to Mount Everest.

Together, they look forward to leading the Emma Darwin Hall community as a team, bringing an exceptional blend of pastoral expertise, energy and dedication to guiding the girls of EDH. They will work closely with Mr Will Reynolds over the coming months to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

In the meantime, Mr Reynolds remains fully focused on guiding the House to a strong and successful end to the academic year as he prepares to take up the role of Director of Activities from September 2026.
