Founding Headmaster of Shrewsbury International School India visits Shrewsbury
We were pleased to welcome Mr Dominic Tomalin, Founding Headmaster, Shrewsbury International School India, to Shrewsbury this week.
During his visit, Mr Tomalin met with colleagues from the Shrewsbury Family of Schools and attended the Shrewsbury International School India Advisory Board.
As part of his visit, Mr Tomalin visited Severn Hill, one of Shrewsbury’s 12 houses, where Old Salopian mountaineer Andrew ‘Sandy’ Irvine’s Ice Axe, recovered on Mount Everest in 1933, is on display.
Mr Tomalin continued his visit to Shrewsbury’s Ancient 'Taylor' library to explore the school’s Archives on Old Salopian Sir Philip Sidney, guided by our Archivist and Head of Special Collections, Naomi Nicholas.
We wish Mr Tomalin safe travels back to India and look forward to welcoming him back to Shrewsbury again soon.
