2022 Sidney Darwin Dash and Quarter Mile Challenge sees record-breaking time set

This year's event was well attended with plenty of House support for the runners. 

Last Sunday's Sidney Darwin Dash and Quarter Mile Challenge saw plenty of house supporters and spectators on site for the races, ready to cheer on Salopians as they took part in this year's final. 

While there was some impressive racing on show, this year saw a new record time set for the Junior Boys' Quarter Mile Challenge by Jack K (PH, IV), who ran it in 51.67 seconds. 

This year's medal winners were:

• Juniors Girls Dash - 1^st Denise M (M), 2^nd Maggie C (M) and 3^rd Faye P (G)
• Junior Boys Dash - 1^st Jack K (PH), 2^nd Dan O (Rt) and 3^rd George M-S (R)
• Senior Girls Dash - 1^st Izzy S (G), 2^nd Peyton B (G) and 3^rd Izzy H (MSH)
• Senior Boys Dash - 1^st Ed P (I), 2^nd Jonny P (I) and 3^rd Tom P (O)
• Junior Girls Quarter Mile - 1^st Amelia B (MSH), 2^nd Lyla W (G) and 3^rd Polly H (G)
• Junior Boys Quarter Mile - 1^st Jack K (PH) & NEW RECORD, 2^nd Harry P-M (I) and Harry M (R)
• Senior Girls Quarter Mile - 1^st Iris D (G), Tabs W (G) and Anna B (EDH)
• Senior Boys Quarter Mile - 1^st Jonny P (I), Brad K (R) and Ben W (R)
