Physiotherapy at Shrewsbury School


Modus Physiotherapy is offers on-site physiotherapy services at Shrewsbury School. Specialising in adolescent sports injuries, Modus works closely with our Sports and Medical teams to support pupils with sports injuries, back and neck pain, post-surgery rehabilitation, and general aches and pains.
Clinics run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and include a free Injury Assessment Clinic, giving pupils the chance to have any concerns quickly checked and the right management plan put in place.
Modus brings a wealth of expertise to Shrewsbury:

- Integrated rehabilitation alongside the School’s medical and sports staff
- Specialist therapists with extensive experience in supporting young athletes
Meet the team:
- Rob Sharp has worked at Shrewsbury for over five years and continues to deliver two weekly clinics. A Chartered Physiotherapist since 2000, Rob is also a Strength & Conditioning Specialist with experience at events such as the London Marathon and Manchester Commonwealth Games.
- Sam Bunce joined Shrewsbury in 2021 as a Senior Physiotherapist, specialising in musculoskeletal outpatients at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. He has worked with Port Vale Football Academy and has additional training in strength and conditioning, lower limb injury management, and acupuncture.
Sessions are priced at £40 for a 30-minute consultation, and Modus is registered with most major insurance providers.
