Advertise Roles and Discover Talent through Salopian Connect

Shrewsbury School is inviting The Salopian Community to benefit from the free to use networking platform, Salopian Connect, to advertise roles, placements and business opportunities.

The platform connects employers directly with motivated pupils and fellow alumni.

Now home to a growing community of more than 3,000 members, the platform brings together pupils, parents and alumni in a shared space designed to foster connection, collaboration and career development.

Led by the School’s Futures Department and the Salopian Club, Salopian Connect enables members to easily promote vacancies, internships, work experience, degree apprenticeships and graduate programmes directly to the Salopian community. Members can also showcase businesses, events and professional expertise across a wide range of sectors.

Head of Futures, Chris Wain, said:

“Salopian Connect now brings together a community of more than 3,000 members and is already proving highly effective in connecting employers with talented young people across a wide range of industries.

“It offers an easy way for Salopians to advertise roles, promote their businesses and engage with the wider community.

“I would strongly encourage the Salopian Community to sign up and make use of the platform, it is a powerful recruitment resource and a meaningful way to support the next generation.”

The impact of the network is already being felt by Salopian-led businesses. Michael Davis, Founder of Buzz Gen and an Old Salopian, has successfully used the platform to recruit new talent. He said:
