Old Salopians support Chapel Choir in Oxford

The Salopian Club was delighted to host a drinks party at the Old Bank Hotel after the Chapel Choir sang Evensong at Merton College, Oxford.

Former Headmaster Jeremy Goulding and his wife classics teacher Isobel, and former Deputy Head Peter Fanning and his wife Jane were all there to support the Chapel Choir as they sang at one of Oxford’s most historic colleges. Both couples are enjoying their retirement in the Oxford area.

Old Salopians joined parents of choir members and some of the singers for the gathering before the choir boarded the bus back to Shrewsbury.

There’ll be another opportunity to hear the choir ‘on tour’ at the Pump Rooms in Cheltenham at 1 o’clock on May 5^th.
