Edgbaston Golf Club Dinner

Birmingham Dinner is back .....

Salopians of many eras attended the Salopian Club Birmingham Dinner, held at Edgbaston Golf Club on Thursday 28^th April 2022, where some of the OS golfing fraternity had played 18 holes earlier in the day. There were 28 diners who enjoyed excellent  food and wine, followed by toasts from the Birmingham Branch Chairman, Jonathan Mitchell (PH 80-84), and guest speaker, Charles Hill (SH 80-84), together with a presentation to Richard Woodgate (Rt 54-59) in appreciation of his many years of service to the Birmingham Branch of the Salopian Club. Giles Bell (Staff) addressed the audience on behalf of the School, adding his own idiosyncratic anecdotes along the way!
