Celebrating Shrewsbury’s Awards and Accolades

Shrewsbury School is proud to be recognised nationally and internationally for its excellence in leadership, teaching, boarding, innovation, and community engagement.

Most recently, Headmaster Leo Winkley has been shortlisted in Tatler’s Best Head of a Public School category in the Tatler Schools Guide 2026. This honour, voted for by parents and the school community, highlights his inspirational leadership and vision.

Alongside this, the school has received a series of prestigious awards and commendations:

• Talk Education Awards 2025: Finalist in the Community Engagement & Charity Fundraising category, acknowledging the school’s outreach and service programmes.
• Microsoft Showcase School (2025-26): Shrewsbury is again recognised for educational transformation, innovation in teaching & learning, and readiness for future challenges.
