Thrills and Spills at Shepherd’s Bush
Thursday 23rd June saw the return of the London Summer Party at Shepherd’s Bush Cricket Club, coinciding with the annual T20 cricket match between the home club and Shrewsbury Saracens. The Saracens total of 196, spearheaded by a superb century by Joe Carrasco (Rt 12-14), was eventually chased down by Shepherd’s Bush with one ball to spare. Meanwhile those Salopians who defied the effects of the train strike were rewarded with a diet of beer, burgers and wonderful cricket.
