On Saturday the Boat Club held the annual Victoria Sabrina and Williams Sculling races on the club stretch.  

The race saw fifty-five scullers take to the water and five doubles. The crews raced one thousand meters upstream from the Coleham footbridge to the Henley Stone lying just before Pengwern Boat Club. 

Conditions were perfect with little stream and wind allowing for some record-breaking times in five of the events. 

The winners were: 

Senior Challenge Sculls (boys): School House
