J14 rowers enjoy first race experience against King's Worcester

On Saturday 7th June the Boat Club hosted Kings School Worcester J14's for a friendly fixture on our home reach.

It was the first race experience for our J14's and it was wonderful to have eight octuples out racing. The crews took part in a time-trial before racing off in side-by-side semi-finals and finals. Everyone got multiple races and three Shrewsbury crews placing in the top four.

The racing provided a number of thrills and spills with a lot of serious fun for all.
